Thyme

A Mediterranean herb that has been widely acknowledged as one of the most used herbs since Ancient Egypt, where it played an important role in the embalming process. Thyme lends itself very well to slow cooking in stocks and casseroles and adds a strong savory flavor, commonly paired with rosemary and sage, it’s used different Italian dishes.
